Are Credit card important for teenagers

As a parents do you ever talk or discuss about credit cards to your children especially if your son is an teenager???………..if the answer not yet, maybe you should tell him little information about credit cards. But as a parents one you must remember “When teenagers fail to pay your monthly bill minimum required, you as parents as well as other parents have to take the weight of the decision to pay in full or by installments charged teenagers you”.
Make credit card for your children it make your children more understand how to manage money but if they understand, sometimes any children doesn’t understand and use the credit card as they wants and doesn’t care about the bill because they think that their parent will help them to pay the bill.
So as a parents you should prepare something that you gonna explain to them, such as :
1. are your chilldren know what is budget means that personal budget that will be issued each day will be paid if using a credit card and they must pay it.
2. show how to pay the bill means that you must show the way to pay bill in front of your children and explain it until they understand.
3. show the credit card limit with explain to your children how much limit from their card and remember them not to use it overlimit.
4. specification what is include emergency need or no, when you explain that this credit card only use if the situasion is emergency and they doesn’t bring much money
5. don’t ever lend your credit card to someone else.
6. expain about interest from credit cards
7. remember them to pay regular every month because if they not do that they will get fine
After you explain all that thing offer to your children they want have credit card or not but with one conditions that they will be responsibilities what they do.
But if something happens and your children use their credit card overlimited, and you as a parents must pay the bill, you can do some negotiation such as :
1. say that you will pay the bill but their credit card will in your hands for a week
2. remember them that if they do it again they must pay it self
3. and if the bill really-really overlimited you gonna withdraw their card credit and they never get it anymore.
Thus some of the steps that you can discuss with your teenagers about credit cards.
NOW….Depend on you will give your teenagers an credit card or not, and do the nest for your children.
Learning is very well done at this time, where the cost may be borne smaller than when they are later entered the adult or married. A good financial behavior began early.
